Temperature control solutions

As defined in Transfusion Quality Manuals, maintaining the cold chain of blood products is an essential requirement of supervisory bodies. The scope of the TermoCod system is to seamlessly record the temperature of critical products, such as blood products, stem cell products or any other drug.

RFID: The temperature loggers have the size of a credit card and are fixed to the individual product by means of a biocompatible sticker. Alternatively the loggers can be placed in the transport containers. The communication is managed via HF RFID (13.56 MHz).

Bluetooth low energy: As compared to RFID, bluetooth has the significant advantage of programming and reading from a distance, even in a closed transport container. Furthermore warnings can automatically pushed on mobile devices paired to the logger.
